User Inspired Music Events for 2018

We love seeing a lot more countdowns from Twitter from our users. Read on to see what events we are talking about.

If you are not familiar with our user inspired posts then here is a little catch up on what happens in these posts. We pick 2 amazing countdowns from Twitter or Instagram and give you a little more info on the countdown itself. If it is a countdown to say Ed Sheeran, we give you some news on him and if there are still some tickets left or if it’s a holiday some great tips on where to go and what to see and when to go.

First up is @hazeldrummer who is off to see 5SOS in Melbourne and Sydney in May. 5SOS are made up of 4 boys Luke, Michael, Calum and Ashton, it all started for them back in Australia in 2011 when they posted covers of songs on YouTube and hit the big time when they headlined for One Direction. 5 seconds of summer have been absent for around 2 years now. Finally, we were teased with a new single and news of a new tour this year. Want You Back is their first single from their new album Young Blood. The sound of this song is very different compared to their old material, a much more mature sound. We truly are in love with their music video for Want You Back and we can’t wait to hear more music in the future from them. 5SOS have over 4 million YouTube subscribers and their latest single Want You Back has over 6 million views. Their most successful single was She Looks So Perfect back in 2014 which gained them the No. 1 spot in 5 different charts. Their tickets for their tour in April – June are sold out but their Meet You Their tour tickets will be released today. This tour includes touring across America from August till October. Secondly is @kemalh1 who is off to see Dua Lipa in April again for the fourth time. Dua Lipa has been getting hugely successful as of the past several years. We were obsessed with her New Rules song she released last year, the music video has been seen over 3 million times on YouTube. It is also her first song to hit the number one spot in the UK. Currently, she has been touring the world with her The Self Titled Tour across the UK and Europe in 2017 and 2018. If you are recently discovering her music then she might be a great act to watch live. She really is killing it right now with her New Rules song, every day she gets millions of more views on the music video and it’s going platinum in some countries. We haven’t thought about seeing her live but it sounds like a great experience.
