If it is a countdown to say Ed Sheeran, we give you some news on him and if there are still some tickets left or if it’s a holiday some great tips on where to go and what to see and when to go.
First up is @amylk_27 who is off to Rome in April this year. The best time to visit Rome is from October to April when it is less crowded and prices for hotels are much cheaper. Rome is a popular tourist destination with some stunning attractions such as The Colosseum, Trevi Fountain and Piazza Navona. All really easy to get to if you hop on the Metro in Italy. The Colosseum although a huge tourist spot, holds a lot of history and stunning architecture. It’s advised to spend a good hour exploring inside of the remains. The Trevi Fountain is a great place to throw in a coin for luck, but also a great place for a pit stop whilst enjoying some ice cream. The Piazza Navona is best to be visited late at night, where the square really comes to life. Whilst in Italy why not indulge in some tasty pasta and pizza. Only the best will be made in Rome. These are just a few things you can do whilst in Rome, Italy.
Next up is @staceyk_b who is off to New York in March. New York is busy all year round but the quietest time to visit is during January till Early March, although rather cold you can get the pick of the best hotels and better pick of the Broadway shows. Here are some must do’s for New York. Central Park really comes alive during the spring months so it could be ideal for a spring walk, why not head towards the Zoo, or hop on a carriage ride through the park. New York is most famous for its pizza, one of the first pizza places to ever open in New York was Lombardi’s Pizza, this place is amazing if you want authentic pizza. If you are looking to walk off that pizza then why not take a walk along The High Line, a beautiful urban bridge in the heart of the city, with stunning views it is a nice alternative to the usual tourist sites in NY. Why not visit some popular landmarks such as the Empire State building and the Rockefeller Center, both stunning views of the city and skyline? It’s a perfect place to take some pictures. A nice way to end a day is by seeing a Broadway show. Either a comedy or musical performance. These are just a few things you can do whilst in New York.
