User Inspired Theatre and Music events 2018

February 23, 2018

It’s been a month or so since our last user inspired post here on our blog. In today’s user inspired post we have one countdown from Twitter and one from Instagram.

If you are not familiar with our user inspired posts then here is a little catch up on what happens in these posts. We pick 2 amazing countdowns from Twitter or Instagram and give you a little more info on the countdown itself. If it is a countdown to say Ed Sheeran, we give you some news on him and if there are still some tickets left or if it’s a holiday some great tips on where to go and what to see and when to go.

First up is Twitter user @HHLifestyleTrav who is seeing Hamilton in London in March 2018. This show has had amazing success in America, it’s a must watch show. Whilst the show was on Broadway it was near impossible to get tickets. Recently the show has found a new home here in the UK at Victoria Palace Theatre. If you were lucky enough to grab tickets just like Hannah, then you are in for a treat. Let us fill you in on what you might expect from the show. The Hamilton musical is based on the historical events of American founding father Alexandar Hamilton. It first became a stage show in the US back in 2015. It has won numerous awards along the way winning 11 Tony awards and was nominated for 16. Also, won a Grammy award for Best Musical Theatre award. Written and produced by Lin-Manuel Miranda, he apparently came across the biography of Alexandar Hamilton by historian Ron Chernow on a flight back from a vacation trip. He researched and found out that no one had done a full stage performance of his story. The soundtrack for the show has also won Best Musical Theater Album at the Grammys. You can still get tickets for the show stays here until December 15th this year.

Next up is Instagram user @frankiiejohnson who is off to see Demi Lovato in Manchester in June 2018. Demi Lovato last week just announced that she is coming to the UK for the first time as part of her European tour of Tell Me You Love Me. She is touring across Europe from late May until late June. Tell Me You Love Me is the name of her latest album released last year in July. You might have already heard one of her tracks from that album which is Sorry Not Sorry, a very different vibe to her older material. If you are a big Demi Lovato fan then you might have already checked out her documentary which was released on YouTube last year in October. It was a very revealing look into her personal life over her whole career. It showed her struggle with depression and suicide and how is overcoming that. It was such an eye-opener to see her take on her life. She took some much-needed rest from showbiz in 2017 but we love that she came back with a killer album and a tour for 2018. We couldn’t be more excited for new music from her, and you can still get tickets to her European Tour.
