User Inspired 2018 Holidays ✈️🏖
It has been some time since our last user inspired post, so since 2017 is nearly over, we wanted to share two of our favourite 2018 holiday countdowns. Read along to get some inspiration for your next trip.
If you are not familiar with our user inspired posts then here is a little catch up on what happens in these posts. We pick 2 amazing countdowns from Twitter or Instagram and give you a little more info on the countdown itself. If it is a countdown to say, Ed Sheeran, we give you some news on him and if there are still some tickets left or if it’s a holiday some great tips on where to go and what to see and when to go.
First up is @_kays_world_ who is off to Rhodes, Greece in July next year. To start off let’s mention when it is best to actually visit Greece, July and August are busy times but if you don’t mind it then it might suit you. Weather-wise April until June and also September is great months to visit. If you are planning on taking a visit then maybe think about renting a car to get you around town. It is recommended to visit Rhodes Town where you can climb the Roloi Clock Tower to get a better view of the whole town. It’s a place to visit during the day and also at night. Whilst you are there do go and visit Acropolis, it is some remains of the old place, you can actually climb the remains and see a stunning view of Rhodes. Be warned it isn’t for the faint-hearted and will be quite the climb up, but the view is very rewarding. If you want to spend some time just relaxing by the pool then you might want to find the beach that suits you. A lovely beach to go and relax is Tsambika beach located on the east coast, it is highly rated on Trip Advisor.
Next is @adventurous.alexandrea who is off to Vilnius, Lithuania in January next year. The best time to visit is May until June and September those are the less crowded times; July until August is the warmest times of the year to visit. It is recommended by many online to explore the old town, it is a huge town that is very easy to walk around. It holds some amazing baroque architecture, it also the largest baroque capital as well. It’s worth just wondering around the town and popping into a few shops and coffee shops too. The best way to see the new and old town is high up, you can climb Gediminas Hill that overlooks the city. Lithuanian food is also very interesting and also delicious, so be adventurous and try some local cuisine there. If the walking is tiring you out then there are lots of amazing museums to visit. So check before you go to find the best ones to visit.
