Tips for Universal Studios Orlando

So here at Countdownplus we love writing about Universal Orlando and Disneyland on our blog. There might be a few things you don’t know about Universal Orlando so we wanted to compile some of the best tips we have come across on the internet.

Shuttle Bus and Express Passes

So if you know all about Disneyland then you might be aware that when you stay at a Disney specific hotel you get a free shuttle service and extra magic hours at the park, this is much the same for Universal Orlando. With Universal Orlando, you get express passes included in your package when you book to stay at their hotels. These two things can be a life saver, so you just jump on a bus when you need to leave and don’t have to worry about parking, and you can jump the queues at the busiest rides at the park.

If you don’t want to waste time waiting in line for queues and make the most of your visit to the parks. Then it is highly recommended that you download the park app. You can find waiting times before you even get into the park. So you can plan your day perfectly and do other things instead of waiting in line for lots of rides. Since the park is huge and easy to loose your bearings, use the map navigation system to direct you to the ride you want to visit. You can also book tickets straight from the app as well, so saves you lots of time overall.

Unlimited Refills

Some of you might travel to Universal Studios Orlando with a group of friends and have children with you. Something you won’t want to do is keep paying a lot for their drinks. So it is recommended by many that you get the Unlimited Refill Cups which let you fill up all day for free. Plus it’s ideal as the more cups you buy the cheaper it actually gets so this is perfect for big family trips.

Lockers

We found out about this a while ago and have always mentioned it, since it is a god send when you need to get on a ride with water and don’t want your electronics destroyed or damaged. We recommend you put your belongings in even if you aren’t going on a ride with water, or just don’t want to carry heavy items all day. You can use it for a free period but check at the stands for what the rules are.
