Thank you so much for doing this with us! Our readers would love to “get to know you” a bit better. We know that you started the first UK fan account for George Smith, one of the members of New Hope. What led you to start this account?
I am happy to share my experience with your readers. My fan account started when I went to see The Vamps live last year at the O2 in London on May 25th, 2019. New Hope Club toured with The Vamps for the past five years and last year they did their own headline tour.
I became hooked on New Hope Club as soon as I heard them sing the old Beatles classic “I want to hold your hand.” One week later, I made this account and have been promoting them ever since. I love their music and the songs they have written. After meeting a friend online, Anivia, we made a website to promote the band. I will link the website and my social media accounts at the end of this article.
We saw that you were recently counting down to a New Hope concert, can you share your experience with us? We would love to hear what it was like counting down to the concert as well as what it was like when it finally arrived.
When I found out New Hope Club was touring again this year, I wanted to see them. They are incredibly kind and caring towards their fans. I had the privilege of meeting them at the album signing in Kingston last Monday and they are lovely to chat with. I already booked their upcoming show at Hammersmith Apollo this year on pre-sale ticket day. I have been using Countdown+ to countdown to my tours ever since. However, I am still waiting to get ahold of my VIP tickets for the show at Hammersmith Apollo so they haven’t arrived yet!
Is there a person in the world with whom you would love to have breakfast or lunch with, and why?
I would have to say George Smith because he's the reason why I started my fan pages. As soon as I heard him sing live, I was amazed. He has an incredible voice and is also a really caring, down to earth guy. George always asks his fans how they are, makes sure everyone is okay and provides his fans with daily updates about life on tour with his bandmates. He works really hard and for that, I admire him.
