Halloween at Disneyland
So Halloween is fast approaching and for some that may mean going to Disneyland for Halloween. They do put on quite a show for Halloween so we are offering some advice on what to do at Halloween.
First up on the agenda is attractions around Halloween season. A big hit during the Halloween season is the Haunted Mansion. The Haunted Mansion gets decked out in The Nightmare Before Christmas décor. We recommended sorting out a fast pass for this ride, as it can be really popular at this time of year. Why not go see Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy, it’s sure to be a thrill of a ride. The whole ride is pretty immersive and could be great if you want to go as a group. Accompanied with projections onto the building of the ride as well. It much like the Haunted Mansion is a popular spot at this time of year, so get a fast pass for it again. A big attraction at any time of the year is the Tower of Terror, which is soon be closing so be quick to check it out before it gets redone. It will be shutting down in January, so you have plenty time over the festive time to visit it. This will most likely be a big hit over the Halloween as it is shutting down.
Now onto some food, there is so much themed food around the Halloween season. If you are looking for something light then you will find special Vampire Mickey Popcorn holders at a few street stands around the park. Some really crafty Dia de Los Muertos food items come to the park, and you can find a Minnie Dia de Los Muertos Cake Pops. Or if you are looking for something more sweet, then try out the Caramel Apple Poison Apple, it looks amazing and looks so enticing. Made to look like a pumpkin carving it is a very crafty item for this season. Choose from two other caramel apples, Mickey Witch and Jack Skellington. Not many themed drinks really which is odd, cause normally they have good drinks. Maybe check around the restaurants for special cocktails at restaurants.
Shows are going to be the main attraction for this time of year, as a special event for Halloween, you can join in with Mickey’s Halloween Party, this event runs through September and October. See some Fireworks at the park, why not also see the Pyrotechnic fun at the park, so your favourite villains appear in big lights above Sleeping Beauty Castle. We suggest that you get tickets to Mickey’s Halloween Party as there is a lot more you can experience, like parades and special performances.
The whole park comes to life at Halloween so do check out the park and spot all the Halloween decorations. Don’t miss out on the big Mickey Pumpkin display, get your photo there since it is a big photo opportunity. Check out the trees, which have Pumpkins hanging from them. The best advice for this season, is book in advance if you know when you are going. Things will book out or you just get stuck in a queue and no one wants that. Also don’t forget to get a few Halloween treats in the shops across the park.
