How to throw an awesome BBQ

The summer is still around and whilst the sun is still shining why not turn the BBQ on and gather together with some friends. We have a few ideas on how to throw a great BBQ.

Best thing to get started is to find a middle ground with your friends, pinpoint one day. Then someone can add it into their countdown app, and you can share the event code so that everyone is keeping track of the event. Then get everyone to bring something to the BBQ. Some can bring snacks, then drinks and you get the idea.

If you want to go all out at your BBQ then here are some ideas to spruce up your BBQ. If you have any fairy lights and a small garden, you could wrap them around a tree and go over the rest of the garden. Could be lovely to hang out some paper lanterns that you can get at the hobby store, could hang them in the trees or along the line of the fairy lights. Why not get a set of small outdoor furniture or go all out and buy something expensive? Could be nice to place some candles from the house to where you are going to eat. Light the way to the table.

Next some great food and drink ideas, first up some drink ideas. Pimms is a classic British summer drink, and better when you can share it with friends. Why not get some mini milk bottles and a jug with a tap at the bottom? Great way to have a little taste of the summer in a little bottle. If you want to serve fruit at a BBQ then, a fun way to serve it can be putting them on skewers or gutting out a watermelon and the placing some fruit inside it. For dessert, you can bake a cookie bar, nice and gooey perfect when served with ice cream. Obviously, the main part of having a BBQ is having some burgers and hot dogs, why not get a few small tubs and fill with some condiment sauces. You can set aside some for a condiments stand.
