New Rides for Disneyland Parks
Disney 23 Expo was on this past weekend and we found out a lot of exciting news about upcoming movies and upcoming rides for this parks. So as you may know we are big fans of Disneyland here on our blog and thought it only felt appropriate to share our favourite new rides coming to Disneyland.
If you don’t have any clue what Disney 23 Expo is well it’s a massive fan based event in the Anaheim Convention Centre. They have huge announcements for rides and future films and this event runs every other year. So, this year was no exception it had some amazing news about improvements and new additions to the parks.
As you may already know Disneyland has been making way for more Star Wars attractions for some time now. Disneyland is going all out on future lands and rides, such as the Star Wars: The Galaxy’s Edge which will be a land full of immersive experiences. If you are die hard Star Wars fan then you might be familiar with the cantina scene and you can get yourself a glass of blue milk and a perfect music tone to set the mood, it will be like you are in the movie. As of right now, there are a lot Disneyland resorts which are based on classic Disney characters, but a first time for the Disneyland parks will be a Star Wars themed resort. The stay will be like no other resort stay at the park, you will be a citizen of the galaxy as soon as you check in. You will get the right costume and many other exciting opportunities as a new citizen of the galaxy. All the stay will be filled with immersive experiences that you will cherish forever. No real news on what to offer but it makes it all that more exciting if you don’t know really what to expect.
So as you might already be aware of is that the Hollywood Tower of Terror was closed down for a Guardians of the Galaxy: Mission Breakout ride. We had a funny feeling we might be seeing more of the Marvel universe come to the parks in the future. They have plans for new rides which will be situated at Epcot, so it is said that the reason why a Guardians of the Galaxy ride will come to Epcot instead of the parks is that when Peter Quill (Star-Lord) was a big fan of the place when he was younger. So, it seems like a fitting place to place the new ride. 2021 is the big 50th anniversary for Walt Disney World Resort, to coincide they wanted to add an attraction such as a new Guardians of the Galaxy ride and a new Ratatouille inspired ride which will link to the France pavilion.
In other Disneyland news, transportation has been on the parks minds for some time since the Walt Disney World Resort is roughly the size of the city of San Francisco. Which is a lot of space to cover and well can be tricky to get to all parks? So, they want to introduce Minnie Mouse themed vehicles which will help take them from place to place at the parks. They will also include some air travel in the form of a new Disney Skyliner, it will help to get to all locations in the resort. All locations will be linked up to the Skyliner, so you can travel and see the parks from a whole new angle.
