Christmas is just around the corner, and now could be the best time to book a last-minute deal. So we wanted to show off a few places you could go to for a Christmas getaway.
Berlin, a popular choice for many holidaymakers around the festive season, year on year. There are plenty of Christmas markets to keep you occupied, and that brings a real festive feel to the Christmas season. If you are looking for something fun to do whilst there, then check out the Winter World on Potsdamer Platz, it is a huge winter wonderland, where you can ride a toboggan down a hill, and view some great sites of the whole city. They have centred their shop displays around Believe, it is all about having faith in the magic of the festive season. Unfortunately, tickets to go to New York are pricey and even with hotel included. Expect to pay over £700 for a last-minute deal.
Lapland is a pretty place for this time of year, this place is a great place for any age. If you believe in the magic of Christmas, then this place is the best place to be for the Christmas season. You can enjoy the Santa Claus Village and the Santa Park. Why not take a magical Reindeer sleigh ride, or experience a husky sledging, Lapland is such a magical place for the festive season. You can stay in amazing log cabins, which is a great place to stay if you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the Christmas period. You can, of course, meet the main man himself Santa Claus, the official Lapland website does let you choose between two price plans, and you get a lot of the things listed above in your price plan.
