User Inspired Posts from Instagram
We are midway through the summer months and we have been seeing a huge amount of holiday countdowns on Instagram. You share so many countdowns on Instagram and it is our favourite platform. We have selected some of the favourite countdowns from Instagram to give you some holiday inspiration. Over the month of July we will be posting a lot more User Inspired content to our blog so follow along to see more posts.
Right let’s get into this post with a post from @0ojones who is off to San Francisco in October this year and she is off too many more locations but we loved the sound of San Francisco. San Francisco is famous for many things such as Lombard Street the winding road, Golden Gate Bridge which you can see in many stunning photos online and The Castro. First few tips to get you started that we found online is that you should bring a jacket and expect it to be rather breezy. When you go expect to walk a lot or rely on Uber for longer travel journeys. If you love seeing breathtaking art and getting some much-needed exercise then head to the 16th Avenue Tiled Steps, it will make for the perfect Instagram photo. Now if you are a lot older and watched Full House or the remake on Netflix you might be aware of the famous houses in San Francisco. They are called The Pink Ladies, which are 7 iconic houses which you can find in San Francisco either on foot or by the bus tour. We mentioned Lombard Street which is a famous long winding road in San Francisco. It has 8 hairpin turns, you can drive down it if you feel brave enough. Not only is grabbing a taxi a great way around town but trying out the cable cars are a must do if you feel like being a true tourist. So we hope that gives you enough inspiration on what to do in San Francisco.
Next up is @meow_meow_smith who is off to Florence, Italy soon. We have been following her countdown for some time now and been sharing her countdowns on our Instagram Stories as well. So we only felt it was right to feature her countdown on our blog. So Florence is a stunning place to visit in Italy, as soon as you type Florence into Pinterest you get the most stunning photos and great ideas for things to do. So featured in her photo is the Duomo, which is a stunning cathedral which can be viewed from many locations. The Cathedral is breathtaking inside and outside a must do when visiting Florence. If you are looking for the even more interesting place to visit then head to the Ponte Vecchio which is said to be Florence’s oldest and most picturesque bridge which holds many buildings. The buildings on the bridge are actually shops which range from jewellers to silversmiths. The city is best visited from above so head to either Duomo or Palazzo Vecchio for that stunning Instagram photo of the city. You can actually climb the bell tower or dome at the Duomo. If you don’t want to queue up for the views then head to the Palazzo Vecchio as apparently, you don’t have to queue as long since the Duomo is a touristy spot. Well, Italy is famous for pasta and pizza so why not indulge in some amazing at the Osteria Santo Spirito Restaurant on the south side of Arno. If you don’t want pasta then head to Gusta Pizza for apparently the best pizza in Florence.
