User Inspired Theatre
It’s 2017 and already on social media we have seen a lot of you counting down to a whole bunch of exciting events. Some of you are going to see some great theatre plays this year. We wanted to show off 2 of our favourite user inspired theatre plays you are seeing.
First up is from user @fronk10 and they are off to see Hamilton in London at the end of this year. Yes, the craze of Hamilton has hit us in the UK at Victoria Palace Theatre. If you were lucky enough to grab tickets just like Fran, then you are in for a treat. No idea what it is all about and have been living under a rock the past few months, then let us help you out. The Hamilton musical is based on the historical events of American founding father Alexandar Hamilton. It first became a stage show in the US way back in 2015. It has won numerous awards along the way winning 11 tony awards and was nominated for 16. Also, won a Grammy award for Best Musical Theatre award. Written and produced by Lin-Manuel Miranda, he apparently came across the biography of Alexandar Hamilton by historian Ron Chernow on a flight back from a vacation trip. He researched and found out that no one had done a full stage performance of his story. If you are going you are very lucky and have a fantastic time.
So the second and the last countdown for this post is from user @keannegardner and they are off to see two shows but we wanted to highlight the Grease The Musical. Grease The Musical has been a huge success here in the UK and they are back with a tour. So you can see them all over the UK this year from London to Manchester. You can easily get tickets for this theatre performance and they are sold at £19.50-£42.50 a ticket. So do check tickets and try and book early as you can. This tour line-up you has Tom Parker from The Wanted as Danny, Danielle Hope as Sandy, Louisa Lytton as Rizzo and Darren Day as Teen Angel. Grease The Musical was made into a live TV event in the US and was a huge success. With a viewership of 16.8 million which is insane and because of this they went on to win a list of great awards through awards season 5 Primetime Emmy awards. It starred Julianne Hough, Aaron Tveit, Vanessa Hudgens and much more great actors. Why not book yourself a ticket to see the play anytime this year.
Hope you enjoyed this blog post on our user inspired theatre shows, we hope it inspired you.
